Greenville, S.C. — Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems, LLC (Stevens) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dendall Wood as General Manager of their mobile aircraft maintenance division. Mr. Wood joined Stevens in 2005 as a quality assurance inspector, then was promoted to Accountable Manager/Chief Inspector at Stevens’ GSP location. He holds an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic certificate, with inspection authorization, previously owned an aircraft maintenance company, and most recently held the position of Chief Inspector/Accountable Manager at Stevens’ Greenville, S.C., GYH location.
Stevens’ mobile aircraft maintenance division consists of a growing fleet of mobile service vehicles and technicians strategically located throughout the U.S. The teams’ locations are shifted throughout the year to adjust for seasonality in markets, large scale events, and to address general unmet demands.
“Dendall’s extensive background in aircraft maintenance, quality assurance, and the associated regulatory compliance is well-suited for him to lead this segment of our business”, said Christian Sasfai, President, Stevens Aerospace & Defense Systems, LLC. “His attention to detail and leadership style will ensure that this ever-growing team continues to provide an outstanding level of service to aircraft operators, wherever they may need our mobile maintenance services.”
